Joggers have been part of the wardrobe since 2020. They got men through isolation and now it’s clear that people are reluctant to give up their comforters as they make their way down the runway. Whether floor-length, tapered, or ankle-tied, runners come in a variety of shapes, several of which are present on the runway for Winter 2022/2023. Looks like runners are here to stay and we’re sure to see them in more than just mission suits.
Will thigh-high boots dethrone chunky boots for next season? So, several designers who appeared at the Winter 2022/2023 fashion week certainly responded to this challenge. Models strutted down the runway in extra-long crotch-length boots. GmbH offers several models for different skin types. At Rick Owens, it’s the soles. Sean Suen introduced them as black elf boots. Acne Studios and Louis Vuitton offer thigh-high boots, while Moschino has colorful leather leggings that can be removed to mid-thigh.
Balaclavas have been popular since the end of 2021. The presence of headgear on various catwalks, such as the Loewe heart-shaped balaclava, shows that this trend is not going away anytime soon. Perhaps a side effect of wearing masks caused by the pandemic, balaclavas have been all over TikTok and Instagram and are now a real fashion statement on the catwalks as seen on the likes of Louis Vuitton, Rick Owens and Loewe.
