Baseball Spring Training 2023 Florida – Major League Baseball today announced the 2023 Spring Training pitchers and catchers dates, as well as the first full team practice dates for each of their 30 teams (a complete list of these dates can be found here)
With that said, let’s take a look at the list of 2023 Spring Training logos and take a look at past Spring Training logos.
Baseball Spring Training 2023 Florida
This season, the logo is very similar to the one used last year in 2022: a simple wordmark with SPRING TRAINING in blue letters and the year in red. The images of palm trees and cacti have been removed and replaced with… well, nothing.
Spring Training Camps Are Empty As Lockout Continues

Each of the two states – Arizona and Florida – that host spring training camps also get their own logos:
Arizona’s “Cactus League” gets a navy and orange color scheme, while East Florida’s “Grapefruit League” gives us a double dose of blue with navy and powder blue.
Ian Damage Means No Spring Training In Charlotte County For Rays
As has been the case in previous seasons, each team gets their own version of the Spring Training logo, unfortunately I don’t have a copy of each team’s logo yet but I have collected some examples below to give you general idea of how the model works:
The home plate shape of the Arizona and Florida state logos is carried over. Notice in the Reds logo above that there are also versions for each team that include the city where they set up camp.

Phillies Announce 2023 Spring Training Schedule
Spring Training 2023 begins as the first wave of open teams for pitchers and catchers on February 15; the first games of Spring Training begin on February 24th. Individual match tickets have already been sold for some teams, while others have started offering tickets for the spring season.
Editor’s note: Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, the spring home of the Tampa Bay Rays, was badly damaged by Hurricane Ian, so this year’s spring training games will be played at Tropicana Park, the home field of the Rays in St. Petersburg. More details below.
Swing Into Spring
George M. Steinbrenner Field is the same size as Yankee Stadium, only bigger. This was insisted upon by the “Boss,” who, according to the story, called the Bronx from Tampa during construction and sent an employee outside the wall with a tape measure during the storm. 2023 will be the Yankees’ 28th year at Tampa Stadium.
Built in 2004, Spectrum Field (formerly Brighthouse Field) is a replica of Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park, Phillies fans should feel right at home. The stadium was built in 2004 with a capacity of 8,500 (7,000 fixed seats; 1,500 grass side seats).
An extensive renovation of the Blue Jays’ traditional spring home, Grant Field, was completed in 2020 and the ballpark was renamed TD Ballpark. The stadium will continue to host Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training and the Dunedin Blue Jays.
New York Yankees 2023 Spring Training Schedule
Joker Marchant Stadium, home of the Tigers since it opened in 1966, is the second-oldest ballpark in the Grapefruit League. No team called the city home for spring training until the Tigers, who had played there since 1934 except for a few years in Evansville, Indiana during World War II. Remodeled to look like Comerica Park in Detroit, this is a traditional ballpark for watching baseball.
Lecom Park (formerly McKechnie Field) was built in 1923 and renovated in 1993. The Bucs have practiced and played their spring games at this site since 1969. Through successive renovations, Lecom Park has maintained the beauty of its history.

Hot Springs, Grapefruits And The Babe: A History Of Spring Training
The ballpark is located directly east of the nationally recognized Art Village, a growing neighborhood of galleries and studios where artists and crafters of various stripes create and sell their wares.
The Grapefruit League’s flagship Ed Smith Stadium underwent a major makeover in 2010, the first time the Orioles left their former spring home in South Florida. The renovated ballpark features Spanish-style architecture and improved seating from Oriole Park to Camden Yards.

Rent a bike or bring your own for the 11-mile ride from Sarasota to Venice on the Legacy Trail, a scenic railroad that passes through backyards, small towns, a state park, and the Wild Coast.
The Braves have played at CoolToday Park in North Port since 2020, allowing them to be closer to other teams than Disney World would provide. CoolToday Park has 6,200 fixed seats, accommodating up to 8,000 fans with benches and standing room. Training facilities include half a dozen baseball fields, six multi-purpose fields, and space for the team’s sports medicine academy.

Mlb’s 2023 Spring Training Logos
North Harbor is home to Warm Mineral Springs, where slow-moving stilt walkers are almost cult-like in their rhythmic pace around the spring. These healing waters are a great attraction for Europeans, who call it “Chudo Ozero” or Miracle Lake.
Port Charlotte’s Charlotte Sports Park, built in 1998, was damaged by Hurricane Ian, so this year’s spring training games will be played at Tropicana Park, the home of the Rays in St. Louis. Petersburg. Players will begin spring training at Disney World’s Wide World of Sports complex in early February before heading to Tropicana Park for major league games. Practices and minor league games will continue at Disney, and the Rays may have at least one MLB game at that site due to scheduling conflicts at Tropicana Field. Details from the Tampa Bay Times.
Charlotte Harbor offers a fantastic beach for boating and sailing with great access to the pristine beaches of Boca Grande and Cayo Costa Island. Around the beach, enjoy all the amenities Punta Gorda has to offer.
Mlb Spring Training Hats — Uniswag
Boston’s spring training home – JetBlue Park at Fenway South – resembles Fenway Park, complete with a Green Monster in left field for fans to sit in, just as they can in Boston. The rest of the outfield was also built to look like Fenway. The tradition is everywhere, including a statue of Ted Williams just outside the ballpark.

Gateway to the offshore islands of Sanibel and Captiva as well as the lively Old Florida beach town of Fort Myers Beach with its quaint beach cottages and restaurants. A little further south, visit Lovers Key State Park or paddle the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve.
Tampa Bay Rays Announce 2023 Spring Training Schedule For 15th Season In Port Charlotte Florida
Hammond Stadium is located in the CenturyLink Sports Complex and has 7,500 seats. The exterior of the ballpark is modeled after Churchill Downs, Louisville’s famous racetrack, complete with a fountain and parking rows named after former Twins greats.

Clover Park (formerly Tradition Field) has been the home of the Mets since 1988. It is a replica of Shea Stadium, the team’s former home in New York. No visit would be complete without grabbing a Taco-In-A-Helmet, Mexico’s stadium version. A recent addition is a party deck in right field, giving fans an option beyond the tiki bar down the left field line.

Capacity is 6,700, including 300 in the right field bleachers. Seattle Mariners 2023 Spring Training Tickets, Matchup Schedule & Locations
The Cardinals share spring training facilities with the Miami Marlins at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter’s Abacoa Community. The stadium is also home to the Class A affiliates of both clubs, who play here throughout the season. Capacity is 6,700, including 300 on the docks in right field.

This is the Astros’ fourth year of spring training in their new digs in a shared facility with the Washington Nationals near West Palm Beach, putting them in the same place where they train with the New York Mets, Florida Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals.
