As we know, 2020 has taken the national conversation on diversity, equality, inclusion, social justice, equality and anti-racism to new levels. We live in a world where racism is embedded in social and political structures. Higher education is one such structure. We have students, faculty, and staff who may experience racial bias on a daily basis. We have policies, procedures and practices that need to be reviewed. While we can’t solve all problems as a whole, one thing is certain: Student Affairs is here to fight the good fight so that every member of our campus community can succeed and belong. Without Sat, Act, What’s Next For Csu Admissions?
In November 2020, Student Wellness established the Health Equity and Advocacy Task Force (HEAT) with the collective vision of creating health equity in the Titan Experience for the campus community. The task force includes staff from all areas of student welfare, including Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Health Services, and Titanville Health Promotion Services. HEAT plans to accomplish this by reviewing wellness policies and advocating for changes that improve patient care, including educating staff about racial justice.
As noted above, the Department of Student Affairs is considered a leader within and beyond CSUF for its critical work and advocacy for diversity, equity, and inclusion across disciplines. Students are supported by student affairs staff in a modern and progressive way, offering the resources they need to live and thrive in a globalized society. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion course is designed for both current and prospective students.

As colleges across the country grapple with the coronavirus pandemic, students and faculty at Cal State Fullerton are straining to make the sudden transition to demanding fully online academics. Due to the sudden and severe nature of the outbreak, it forces us as students to ask for more support and acceptance from the administration during this difficult time.

The support that we as students consider necessary is the universal passing system for the rest of the semester. The Universal Pass system will result in students receiving credit for every course they are currently enrolled in without the possibility of failing in the spring semester of 2020. All students will receive a “P” (“pass”) on their transcript instead of a letter grade.
We, as students, feel that these accommodations are necessary due to the increased stress and lack of resources that many students now face. While some students have the ability to manage an online classroom system, others do not have access to the Internet or the home equipment necessary to successfully manage their courses.
As we find ourselves in the midst of a global pandemic where access to essential items such as food, medical supplies, and resources is dramatically limited, we are calling on our institution to make a basic S for the Cal State Fullerton Spring 2020 Grading System.

Csuf Volleyball Players ‘titan Up’ On Team Values
Cal State Fullerton’s MFA in Screenwriting is designed for those seeking “professional education and training in writing for film, television, and interactive media.” The two-year program results in two script theses projects. Prospective students can get an overview of the curriculum here.
The Cal State Fullerton application process includes submitting a graduate application and school transcript, along with an essay overview of why the program is a good fit for the applicant, two creative writing samples that demonstrate the applicant as a writer. show and three letters of recommendation.
