CSUN’s David Nazarian College of Business and Economics MBA program is proud of our students and alumni. Nazarian College’s MBA students are experienced professionals who represent very diverse backgrounds in various industries in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, and Ventura regions. Our graduates see their MBA as a sound investment and strive to better understand the business environment and provide innovative ideas.
Classes are held from Monday to Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and occasional Saturdays. Students typically take two courses per semester and complete an MBA in about two years. Some of our courses are offered as ‘HyFlex’, offering maximum flexibility for students who travel for work or have family responsibilities. This class arrangement means that students can attend classes via video conference when these assignments do not allow them to attend classes in person. Students reduce or accelerate their study load depending on work and family needs. The electives aim to provide timely and relevant topics that help differentiate the student in the workplace and increase the value of the work.
Who We Are
Nazarian College MBA students not only learn, but also take that knowledge back by helping businesses as part of the culminating experience of Nazarian College’s Small Business Mentoring Program. With ongoing support from the Wells Fargo Foundation, teams of MBA students consult with and address the specific needs of small businesses and nonprofits in the region. As a result, students gain greater trust and connections, paying off their investment in the community.
The program was recently ranked 18th in California’s Best MBA Schools and Programs by the University Center and the Princeton Review’s Best Campus MBA Program. CSUN is ranked the nation’s sixth “most diverse college” by Money Magazine, and the Wall Street Journal ranks it as one of the nation’s top three universities for diversity. Few MBA programs can match Nazarene College’s MBA graduates, who are prepared to work and lead in a diverse global business environment.
