Ecc Summer Classes 2023 – Explore ECC Camp! You’ll find everything you love about ECC, including attentive teachers, small classes, and fun activities. A four-hour camp day offers time for play, art, music, movement and more. Each week of camp focuses on a fun theme.

Instructions: The camp week is 3 days – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Hours are 9:00-13:00. We offer six weeks of camp, but you can pick and choose which weeks you want your child to attend. Camp is available to children currently enrolled at ECC and to children ages 3-5 who are not in Kindergarten. All children should be potty trained.

Ecc School Day

Cost: Camp is $100 per week. There is also a one-time registration fee of $25. A Camp ECC t-shirt is included with your registration fee! Camp fees will be posted to your student accounts in April and are due by May 15th. No refunds will be given for missed days. Changes may be made based on availability.

Week 1: June 6-8 “Poppin’ in Preschool!” Your child will enjoy exploring things that go POP! Popcorn, Bubbles, Bubble Wrap, Pop-Its, Pop Rocks and more.

Week 2: June 13-15 “Kansas City Super Sports!” Your child will learn about all the major sports teams in Kansas City, including the Chiefs, Royals, Sporting, KC Current, Mavericks, T-Bones and more. Dress up in your favorite team’s jersey and get ready to play!

Week 3: June 20-22 “ECC Cafe” – Calling all sous chefs! Children prepare different foods, cook and talk. Bring your cooking skills on Thursday as students prepare and serve their own meals. Enjoy your meal!

Week 4: June 27-29 “Oi Gooey Art!” We had so much fun making and exploring different art mediums including slime, play dough, squiggles, finger painting and more. Dress for mayhem!

Week 5: July 5-7 (Wednesday to Friday): “Oceans of Fun” – We learn about the ocean and the animals and plants that live there. We had a lot of time with sand tables and water tables.

Week 6: July 11-13 “Camping Out at Camp ECC” – Let’s Go Camping! S’mores, tents, forts, hikes and more. Who doesn’t love a good camp? We are very excited to offer a traditional preschool program for children ages 3-5, as well as a GSRP (Great Start Readiness Program) for eligible 4-year-old families. Children 4 years old from September 1 (December 1). It is wonderful to see so many families interested in giving their children a good start in their early years of education.

During the first eight years of life, children learn by imitation and example; It provides the basis for life. Transportation to and from the center is the responsibility of the parents. Parents must inform the center where they can drop off their child. The emergency form has space for this information. Please let the teacher or office know if there are any particular concerns.

Your child will only be released to the person(s) listed on the Child Information Form. In most cases, photo ID is required.

Absence due to illness or vacation for any period requires full payment of monthly fees. (Traditional Preschool Programs) All preschool program parents please call the office at 586-248-4949 to let us know when your child will be absent.

We are proud participants in Project 36, the first project developed by the Sims/Mann Institute, BJE (Builders for Jewish Education), and the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. Designed to provide parents and facilitators with a unique professional development opportunity, the first project will integrate 21st century approaches for 36 parents. My Parents and Facilitators receive individual training and counselling, including classroom visits, observation and feedback. Early college graduates (ECC) earn a high school diploma plus an accelerated Associate in Arts (AA) degree in four years.

When you complete the ECC pathway that includes high school, concurrent enrollment, and college! Courses taken at Orcutt Academy and Allan Hancock College toward your two-year liberal arts A.A. Graduates of all four years of high school.

College now! Classes offered at Orcutt Academy High School (OAHS) will begin at 7:30 am. College now! Courses offered at Alan Hancock (AHC) or online during the summer term are scheduled by the HSC and vary by faculty. Concurrent enrollment courses offered on the OAHS campus are scheduled during regular high school bell hours.
