Cast Lists Spring 2023
On January 25, the K-State MANRRS will host its first meeting of 2023. The meeting will include a former Project Impact researcher and a current Hormel Foods representative to give the final push for internship and job opportunities. Join us to hear from Hormel and talk about all the upcoming activities K-State MANRRS has planned for the spring semester. Food will be provided.
On Feb. 8, K-State MANRRS will host the Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) at their annual meeting at 6 p.m. in Waters Hall 137. On February 16, 2023, DPO will partner with the K-State Black Professor and Staff Alliance (BFSA) and the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies to present the 2023 Annual Boyer/Switzer Conference. K State Cancels Spring Break, Announces Other Date Changes
From February 20-24, K-State MANRRS will celebrate its Spring 2023 MANRRS Week. The week includes fundraisers, events and philanthropic activities to raise awareness of MANRRS.
On February 22, DPO will partner with K-State MANRRS and Scoular to host the 2023 Wallace Ray Kidd Diversity Award Reception. Join us as the 2023 award recipients are recognized for their contributions to diversity and inclusion in the College of Agriculture. Thanks to Scoular for sponsoring this event.
On February 28, OPH will host the Spring 2023 Diversity Forum “Cultivating Our Mindset.” This semester’s platform is Dr. Featuring Lauren Brewer. Dr. Brewer is a former K-State MANRRS officer and graduate of the K-State Department of Grain Sciences with a master’s degree in grain science and a Ph.D. In Grain Chemistry. Currently, he is a member of the College of Egg Dean’s Advisory Board and Director of Research and Development at General Mills, Inc. Dr. Join us as Brewer leads a conversation about the importance of diversity in the workplace.

University residences will open for the academic year on Wednesday 16 August 2023. Students planning to arrive early may depart on Sunday, August 13, 2023 for an additional fee of $55.00/day per day prior to the official start day. The first arrivals will depart on Saturday August 12.

And Dining Services sent the first move-in email to all residents via their K-State email address on July 5, 2023. All residents are required to complete the required information and schedule an appointment for registration.
The Residence Handbook covers important policies and procedures. Residents are responsible for following the guidelines, including procedures specific to COVID-19. Each resident must consult the Residence Manual thoroughly. An updated calendar with important dates is also included in the manual. The calendar is updated every year in late June or early July. It has been renewed for the academic year 2023-2024.

Once a login is available, we strongly recommend that you choose one as soon as possible. Some days/times fill up quickly for some residences. If necessary, students may enter their day and time in the system by 5:00 p.m. Can be changed up to The day before arrival. Please do not show up for check-in on a day or time other than the day you have selected. We cannot accommodate those who do not have check-in hours or who arrive outside of scheduled check-in hours.
Remember to print your appointment confirmation (one copy for each vehicle you bring to the depot). This confirmation can be found in your K-State email inbox or on the registration website under “View/Print Appointment”.

If you are bringing a vehicle for the semester, purchase a residence hall parking pass from K-State Parking Services.
Please remember your EID (this is the first part of your K-State email address) and password, as you will need them to log into the system when you log in. If you do not remember your password, please reset it and create a new password before arrival.

Please remember that all residents must arrive at check-in time at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Please take a moment to update your emergency contact information and select an arrival appointment.
After the appointment is created, an email will be sent to your @k-state.edu email address. Please print the email and keep it on your dashboard upon arrival.
After arriving at the hall of residence, only the student should first pass through the main entrance to the room. Staff will show you where to check and collect your keys. When you have your keys you can start moving and your family/guests can start helping you inside the building.

We do not limit the number of people who can help you during the move, but we encourage you to bring as few people as possible.
If you need help making beds, removing beds, bunking, getting a shower curtain for your bathroom (suites only) or other maintenance requests, please see the front desk or your resident assistant for assistance. Upon arrival, you can submit a maintenance work order request through the K-State HDS mobile app or resident portal. Maintenance staff may not be able to complete the request until the next business day. Download the app from the Apple App or Google Play Store.
Who We Are
Floor meetings will be held on Wednesday, August 16 for students arriving on or before August 16. Ask your RA about the meeting location or check the signs posted along your floor. Students arriving after August 16 will have an additional floor meeting later in the week.
Know when and where to eat! We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the locations, menus and hours of our dining centers. Move-in week meals begin with breakfast on Monday, August 14th.
