This summer, tennis players ages 6-10 can participate in the Kids Tennis Summer Camp, June 18-August 27, 2023. All KIDS program participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the Rafa Room. Nadal’s residency is an unsupervised environment within the Academy’s facilities.
Our human team is trained to implement safety and infection prevention recommendations in all areas.

We have different levels of players and we want all players to train between 4 and 6 hours a week. The coaches assess the level of all players at the start of the program and place them in training groups for the week based on their level and age. Coaches also decide the color of the ball to suit the needs of the players. Coaches understand that players may tire of travel and may change their team during the player’s stay if deemed necessary. The final decision is always made by the coaches
Christmas Tennis Camp
All players in our annual, weekly and summer programs are unranked. For some, tennis is their chosen sport to carry the values they learn through sports to be fit and active throughout their lives and their chosen careers. Not all of our players want to be professional tennis players. Coaches expect players to practice between 4 and 6 hours a day. The most important thing is a good attitude, a desire to study and a desire to play tennis.
Summer camp and weekly program: We have players from all over the world, so the common language of the camp is English. Many of our employees speak different languages
Parents can stay at the Rafa Nadal Sports Center. While young players can stay with their parents, we encourage them to stay at the player’s residence to take full advantage of the program. It helps build friendships, respect for self and others, independence and self-discipline. The players’ accommodation (academy) is a 24-hour monitored building, with monitors present throughout the night. Only authorized personnel may enter this building. Short programs (summer, weekly) for young players are housed in modern, well-equipped rooms with up to 3 players. Rooms have private bathroom and private air conditioning/heating.

Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar (junior) has free WiFi. Players must ask the reception for the access code Open daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Not available outside of these hours. The Academy encourages responsible use of the Internet.
Junior Summer Camps
Cell phones are not allowed during class, training, and meals. During this time, the cell phone must be kept in the student’s locker or room.
Rafa Nadal Academy at Movistar (): This is a “base camp” for limited youth players. It houses the players’ rooms, the gym, the lounge, the American International School of Mallorca and offices. 26 tennis courts (clay and green), 7-a-side football pitches and various sports fields.
Rafa Nadal Sports Center (www.rnsportscentre.com): open to the public. It accommodates parents and players over the age of 18. Modern gym, spa, indoor and outdoor pools, 7 padel courts, restaurants, cafes, shops, Pro Shop, Rafa Nadal Xperience Museum, Rafa Nadal Foundation and offices. Clinica Juaneda is a medical center specializing in sports medicine, physical therapy and nutrition. Serving the same kitchen as the sports center restaurant, the player’s dining room (reserved) is located in this building.

YES. Next to our office is a dedicated tennis shop where players can hit the racquets or buy all the equipment they need at a special price.
Sunday airport transfers (on arrival and departure days) are included with the full meal option for the smaller programs. If you check in or check out on a different day, there will be an additional charge. We are approx. 40 minutes by car from Palma de Mallorca International Airport (PMI). Mallorca has been a tourist destination since the 1960s, and we have direct flights from most European countries, as well as good connections to Madrid and Barcelona airports in mainland Spain.
Please note that all visa matters are the responsibility of the customer. Upon receipt of registration and payment, the Academy will assist non-EU citizens with an invitation letter to apply for a visa.
