As an experienced clinical pharmacist, Dr. Yuan worked as a pharmacy director and clinical pharmacist in a psychiatric hospital for 11 years. Before working as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital, he also had many years of experience in a retail pharmacy as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager. Dr. Yuan taught pharmacy technician students, Pharm.D. Students, and pharmacy residents from various pharmacy schools for 13 years.
Dr. Yuan also has experience in pharmacy management, both in acute psychiatric hospital environments and in retail. He is highly skilled in performance management, development of clinical protocols, development of guidelines and procedures, implementation of best practices and student/pharmacy development.

Bio- Dr. Fazelbhoy completed his PharmD from Western University of Health Sciences and a Master of Science degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He is a registered pharmacist in the state of California and is also licensed as an Advanced Practice Pharmacist. She is board certified in pharmacotherapy and currently works as a clinical pharmacist at Aurora Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, CA. He is also AAHIVP certified and has worked in HIV medicine in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Dr. Han brings more than 10 years of community practice, pharmacy management and medication management experience to the School of Pharmacy. Before joining, Dr. He managed several pharmacies and taught many pharmacists and pharmacists who became successful pharmacy managers. dr. He also provides medical treatment at some senior institutions. Dr. Han currently serves as a member for the California Korean American Pharmacists Association.

Dr. Hussain received his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, TX, and a B.S. in Pharmacy from Kakatiya University in India. Prior to this, Dr. Hussain worked as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Louisiana and Oklahoma. He has taught pharmacy professionals and graduate students in various courses, including but not limited to pharmacy, pharmaceutical composition, pharmacokinetics, physical pharmacy, drug delivery and targeting, pharmaceutical technology, medical microbiology and biotechnology. He also holds several M.S. and Ph.D. student during his career.
Dr. Hussain’s research interests focus primarily on the area of inhaled proteins and peptide delivery. He is currently researching ways to increase drug absorption by non-invasive means in laboratory animals and to understand the mechanism of macromolecular drug transport in vitro. Dr. Hussain is also passionate about student learning and the application of new methods of teaching and learning in the classroom and laboratory. He is actively pursuing the arena of scholarship for teaching and learning after joining in 2020.

In terms of his leadership experience, Dr. Hussain is the former chairman of the Department of Public Education. She currently serves as Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Admissions for the School of Pharmacy.
