University Of Utah Summer 2023 Schedule – The School Psychology program at the University of Utah offers both educational specialist programs and doctoral programs. The Educational Specialist Diploma is designed to prepare qualified and effective psychologists to practice in schools or school-related settings. The program requires 73 semester hours for the degree, which includes 1,500 hours of supervised practice. Upon completion of the program, students meet Utah state licensure standards and the certification requirements of most other states. This doctoral degree aims to prepare psychologists to practice in schools and other human services, including:

The doctoral program conforms to the scholar-practitioner degree model and requires a total of 108 semester hours of coursework, which includes 2,000 hours of practicum in school psychology.
The School Psychology program also offers a BCBA specialization track. Specializations are not mutually exclusive and are designed to provide graduate and doctoral students with continuing education, electives, and other professional practical and internship experiences that enable the acquisition of specific skills for applied behavior analysis. The BCBAtrack specialization is not a substitute for other specialty and doctoral degree requirements and should not significantly increase the number of hours a student can spend in the program.

The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at the University of Utah currently offers two residency options and one hybrid option beginning in the summer of 2023. Admission requirements, prerequisites and application requirements are identical for each option.

The hybrid option provides students with a unique opportunity to earn a DPT degree at the University of Utah without transferring. Didactic courses are delivered through a layered learning model that includes immersive asynchronous content, live online sessions, and two in-person immersions per semester. Baptisms are held on the Salt Lake City campus and are mandatory. Clinical experiences take place in student communities, allowing students to learn in an intimate and innovative atmosphere while staying close to home.
The hybrid variant accepts applications for students starting in May 2023. Hybrid applicants must submit a PTCAS application specifically for the hybrid option listed in University of Utah – Hybrid Options. All other applications are the same.
The Salt Lake City campus sits next to the Wasatch Mountains and is minutes from nearby hiking trails, ski resorts and mountain biking trails. Salt Lake City is the birthplace of our DPT program. Salt Lake City students will receive video conferencing technology and St. George.

Located on the campus of Utah Tech University (UTU), St. George offers modern facilities, University of Utah and UTU student services, and proximity to several national parks. Didactic courses are conducted in person using video conferencing technology at the Salt Lake City campus.

High School Summer Programs At The University Of Texas Austin
The University of Utah Department of Physical Therapy hosts monthly general information sessions to provide information about physical therapy as a career; Prerequisites for implementing the program; and admission procedures. Most prospective students get their questions answered within one session. Everyone is invited to participate.
Pre-Physiotherapy Club (Pre-PT) This club is a student-run organization that is closely related to the physical therapy department. Membership in the Pre-PT Club fosters camaraderie among those interested in a career in physical therapy and provides members with an opportunity to learn about the profession. The club acts as the voice of physical therapy on campus, promoting interest in physical therapy and providing services to the community.
