Virginia Tech Fall Break 2023 – The Atlantic Coast Conference and Virginia Tech have announced their 2022 football schedule, which includes six home games at Hokies Lane Stadium.
Virginia Tech’s 2022 football schedule includes home games against Boston College, Wofford, West Virginia, Miami, Georgia Tech and Virginia.

The Hokies open the season with a road game at Old Dominion before following a three-straight home opener, culminating in Thursday night’s contest against West Virginia, as the Hokies look to win another Black Diamond title.

Notre Dame Basketball Data: 2023 Early Acc Landscape
Gallo, the younger brother of former Virginia Tech center Eric Gallo, has started games for the Hokies in each of the past three seasons. Recruited in 2019, Gallo played in 46 career games for the Hokies and started 26 times.
Gallo caught 14 passes for 130 yards in 2021, but had his breakout campaign in 2022. Gallo had career highs with 30 receptions and 256 receiving yards. In his return, Tech provides a nice 1-2 punch with up-and-comer Dae’Quan Wright. Wright demonstrated his excellent skills in 2022 as a true rookie. The duo offers the new Kyron drones and important weapons at tight end.
More pieces are slowly coming together for Virginia Tech’s 2023 offense. With the transfer window now open, don’t be surprised if the Hokies add even more talent, especially in the holes. Tisdale, a 6-foot-1, 228-pound senior from Greenboro, missed the first six games of the 2022 season because of an eligibility issue. The Athletic’s Andy Bitter recently confirmed the news that Tisdale has announced his official NBA Finals bet.
Head coach Brent Pry spoke about Tisdale earlier this year and said he has the linebacker’s full support in the matter.
Virginia Tech Offering Scholarships To Freshmen (class Of 2023)
The Hokies will certainly be happy to have Tisdale back in 2023. He has been outstanding since his return against Miami in mid-October. Through four games, Tisdale recorded 35 tackles and cemented the outside linebacker position alongside first baseman Dax Hollifield.
In four years with the Hokies, Tisdale, who redshirted in 2018, played in 36 games and recorded 230 tackles, including 18 for a loss and 6.5 sacks. Tisdale is a great athlete who also plays well with content, a trait that makes him valuable.
The Hokies lose defensive backs Hollifield, Chamarri Conner and TyJuan Garbutt for the season, so Tisdale’s return means Tech will have an experienced leader on defense later this year.

In other news, senior quarterback Jason Brown, a South Carolina transfer, has signed on for a sixth season. Brown originally committed to St. Francis in 2017 when he returned from knee surgery in his freshman season. Brown has played in three games this season, completing seven of 13 passes for 65 yards.
Brown is another recognized veteran in the locker room and will be taking over another young team in 2023. He could compete again for the quarterback position. BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech fans were hoping to add a home-and-home series with a Southeastern Conference opponent to the Hokies’ football schedule. On Thursday, athletic director Whit Babcock announced that Alabama and Ole Miss will each play a home series with the Hokies. In addition, Babcock also confirmed that the dates for the Wisconsin Series are confirmed for 2031 and 2032. Plans are being finalized to play a home-and-home series with an SEC opponent in 2024 and 2025.

Virginia Tech has also added North Alabama to its home football schedule for next season with a game on September 26, 2020. North Alabama begins 2019 play in the Big South Conference as the school enters the transition period to FBS states. The Lions already have a 2020 game at BYU and a 2022 contest at Memphis.

The addition of North Alabama to Tech’s 2020 schedule gives the Hokies seven home games at Lane Stadium for the third consecutive season. The Hokies also have non-conference contests scheduled in 2020 against Liberty (Sept. 5) and Penn State (Sept. 12), as well as ACC home contests against Boston College, Georgia Tech, Miami and Virginia.
